A native of Damascus, Syria, Nader Agha relocated to Monterey, CA, in 1965. After studying electronics at Monterey Peninsula College for three years, he began buying and selling residential, commercial, and industrial real estate. As the owner of Agha Construction, Nader Agha created two subdivisions that helped accommodate the growth of the city of Soledad, CA’s population from about 4,000 to 26,000 in 40 years. He has also been involved in the construction of dozens of multi-family complexes throughout Monterey County.
Mr. Agha’s notable projects include the Holman Building in Pacific Grove, the Coin & Treasure Shoppe in Monterey, and the 188-acre Moss Landing Commercial Park. In addition to his work in real estate, Mr. Agha is a board member of the Dan and Lillian King Foundation, which aims to educate young people about the United States Constitution. An avid antique collector, he specializes in gold, coins, paintings, and furniture, and he also enjoys writing short stories in his free time.
